Time flies. It’s now November and the year is coming to an end in another 2 months time.
October had been a helluva fun month. There’s John and my 4th year anni and there’s Alison and Raymond’s wedding!
Offered to be Ally and Ray’s wedding coordinator but little did I know that the role was so important and crucial. Hahahah! And so, the morning started off with going over to their house to fetch some flowers that had been specially done up by Aunty Susan for the bridesmaid. Borrowed Pris’s car for the event and I must say, I’m really thankful to have her in my life. She’s like an angel sent from above to help me through every part of my life. She agreed to lend me her car without hesistation and refused to take my money! I’m really indebted to her. Ha!
As catholics, we believe that the first time you meet your bride on your wedding day should be in the church so there weren’t any gate crashing. Started to unpack and set up the reception table with the help of Shane and Stacy the moment we reach the church. This is my first time attending a church wedding and man was I excited for every single bit of it. Hearing the sound of the car horn, everyone quickly got sitted down as the bride is about to march in. With Canon in D playing on the piano, the bridesmaid and bestman began streaming down slowly. And together with Uncle Jack, Alison walked into the church with her arms wrapped around her dad’s. Never seen a bigger smile on Raymond before as Alison got closer and closer to him.
Then there was the bouquet throwing session. Before it even happened, I was urging Alison to do that cos I will definitely be there to catch it. Yes, I want to be next! Hahahahaha! Since everyone knew that I wanted the bouquet, they decided to back out leaving me alone to catch the bouquet. It was a damn paiseh moment. Persuaded all the girls to stay for picture sake but it seemed like I was contagious. Hahahahah! In the end, the bouquet landed onto John cousin’s hand whom was married. Lol!
Right after, John and I hurried down to the hotel as we have to go through another rehearsal before the lunch starts. The precocktail was packed! With so many things to attend to, my wedges were being a bitch. I have a feeling I walked like a duck that afternoon. Hahaha! The surprise the couple had for each other was so sweeeet! I wish I could show you guys the video I took but due to my incompetence stupid iphone 5, I can’t. The video was unable to record sound! WTH right! :(
Anyhoos (John hate it when I use this. Hahahaha!), the whole event went quite smoothly and I’m glad the couple enjoyed themselves like unicorns riding rainbow. Just imagine. Hahaha! Ended the day with dinner at Xin Wang Cafe and FOOT MASSAGE with John’s family! That was the best part. Hahaha!
To Erjie & Erjiefu, thank you for having me at the wedding. I wish that the both of you will have a blissful marriage and it’s my pleasure to help out at such important event for the both of you. Can’t wait for you guys to lay some cute eggs! Hahahahaha! Hope that didn’t come out wrong. You know what I mean. :)

John and I celebrated our 4th year anniversary yesterday. Started off the day with a good weather. Worked on the gift which I wanted to give him the whole afternoon and suddenly, I received a call from an unknown number. She went on to say that I have a gift and whether I will be home to receive it. Like any other humans would, I probed further because I have no clue on what’s happening. And she went, “It’s a bouquet of flowers. It’s suppose to be a surprise.” At that moment, I was like, “Okay… Did you just ruined my bf’s surprise.” Hahahaha! But nonetheless, I was grinning from ear to ear after I hung up cos I know some pretty flowers are coming to my doorstep. :)
Packed my stuff for my stayover at his and cabbed to his place with my nicely done present. His sisters were super sweet to lend us the car for the night. The silly boy actually wanted to keep where we are dining as a surprise but as you know, John is the worse at roads and my IOS 6 didn’t really helped too cos the new google map reads out your final destination. Hahaha! I love letting him decide dinner cos I know his standard for anniversary, birthday and valentines’ dinner are pretty up there. And he knows what exactly I would look out for in the menu. This is my boyfriend for you. Meticulous and sweet. Awww. Kinda miss him now as I’m typing this. Too bad he’s having duty tonight. :(
Ended off dinner with dessert under Singapore’s skyline. The view at Prelude was amazing. And dessert was yumzxzxzxz! The rich chocolate texture still lingers in my mouth. So gonna have it again if we have the chance to. Heard from John that he had a hard time making reservations.
It’s been 4 years. Was telling John that it feels like it has been like forever. Never thought the both of us would end up at where we are today. I used to dislike him when we were in the same secondary school and now, I’m head over heels for him. How ironic huh. He has been my greatest gift in life thus far and I will treasure it. He’s the one and I’m honestly looking forward to walk down the aisle with him. You might think it’s too early to say this but John has really played a very big part of my life. Wouldn’t be who I am today without him. Okay, maybe I’m not that great of a person but he has defintely helped me in many aspects of my life and I’m thankful for him. I really hope this will go on for as long as the both of us lives. Thank you for being the most awesome boyfriend Johnathan Chua. I love you. :)

Finally got some time on my hand to update this space. I’ve been swamped with birthdays, work and lotsa errands for the past few months that I barely have time for myself.
So it’s August now. Which means I’m 22! There’s no other way I would rather spend it this year. Thank god for bff (priscillasiahxinyi!!! ^^) who skipped school and accompanied me the whole afternoon cos le bf was in camp. Went for brunch at Le’toile Cafe near Owen Road. Awesome place to chill on a laid back afternoon. Rented car (present from sis <3) for 2 days and drove everyone around like a taxi driver. Well dont get me wrong, I love being a taxi driver. I just like to drive. :) Got John & Choon when they booked out and went up to Mount Faber for dinner! Love the place like a love song baby. Hahah! The ambience is perfect. Had dinner overseeing the whole of sentosa and shortly after, there were fireworks (which le bf claims that he paid for it when it came from Song of the Sea in Sentosa. Hahah! Bf humor. ). End off the night hanging at Henderson Wave playing with our craftholics which bf & bff bought for me and singing love songs. Awwwwww. :)
As I’ve mentioned, time was running in god-like speed these few months that I barely have time for myself. So when I do have time for myself, I try to catch up on personal fitness and hygiene. Had been gyming quite a lot last month but i think this month’s intake is catching up. Hahah! Wake up Pat! You’re sucha fattie! :( Need to go more often before i quit and achieve the perfect figure! I can do it! (I can’t. Hahahaha!)
Next, hygiene! Guess who just went to the dental! MEEEEEE! Unlike many people, i love going to the dental! Not even the slightest tinge of fear honestly. I love how the dentist caresses my teeth. Hahaha! Went thru scaling and polishing for free cos my company is paying. Yay! I got clean teeth now! :D
In 16 days, I will be off to BKK! Can’t wait! Celebrating Pris’s birthday there cos we are an awesome clique of girls. Hahaha! I really want to get out of SG very badly. Work has been a torment. Just want to indulge like a queen there. Omggggg! Sept 6 come quick! Meanwhile, I have to STOP shopping! Yes, I meant it.
Ohohoh! I’ve also applied for school back in May. Will be pursuing a part-time degree in Banking & Finance. And school is gonna start in Sept! I really hope i won’t die. Hahah! I know it’s not easy to juggle, but this is the only way to continue having an income and not lose out to my friends who are graduating from uni soon.
Whole lot more to update but I’m kinda lazy to continue. So shortcut? Hahahahaha!
- Postponing Tokyo trip to next year. :(
- Kylie kissed me on Sunday and i think she knows who’s auntie pat now! :D
